I purchased the Emmi-pet along with a couple of extra toothbrushes (it comes with 2) as I have multiple dogs and like humans they really need their own toothbrush to avoid spreading any germs from one dog to another. The toothbrush has to be charged for 24 hours before use so, unfortunately, I had to wait before trying it out.

#2 · Sep 10, 2021 We still use Emma Pet toothbrush & alternate w/regular brush for both dogs. While they are not crazy abut the Emma Pet (because of the vibrations) It is a great product. We also do regular dentals. I have no experience w/the Mira-Pet but it gets mostly good reviews. Qui me amat, amet et canem meum.

It cretainly seems to soften the tartar making it easier to scrape off (if your dog will allow it) but even if they won't then daily use of just a couple of minutes each session, along with hard chews or bones to scrape the teeth instead, certainly seems to make a differentce - and the dog's breath smells much better! I don't regret buying it.

The Emmi-pet Ultrasound Toothbrush comes with special canine toothpaste. It took both Matt and I to wrangle the dogs so we could attempt to brush their teeth. We did introduce the brush to them first by letting them sniff it…and lick it. Wynston was difficult because the toothbrush head was just a little too big. But again, his mouth is super tiny.

And then it refused to charge at all - light comes on and goes straight off again. No joy asking Emmi Pet for support. Don't bother with it.
